What does it do?
Reservation is the engine every channel books through. A sale from the website, an agency or a kiosk becomes the same reservation object here — created, amended, cancelled or refunded through one flow, with the invoice raised from the same record.
Because every channel writes the same object, a booking is the same thing however it was made: valid at the same ramp, refundable on the same terms, counted the same way.

A sale from any channel creates one reservation object.
Change
Changes and rebookings are made against the same record.
Cancel
Cancellations and refunds run through one flow, on consistent terms.
Invoice
The invoice is raised from the same reservation.
What does it connect to?
Reservation reads Schedule, Inventory and Dynamic pricing, and settles through Payment gateway and Ledger.
Reservation exposes a local API so an operator's own site or CRM can drive the same booking flow.
What are its limits?
What it deliberately does not do:
- Reservation is the booking engine, not the payment processor — settlement is Payment gateway's job, driven from here.
- Reservation does not set prices or define capacity; it books against what Dynamic pricing and Inventory describe.
