What does it do?
Vessels is the single description of each ship — its decks, cabins, berths and the configurations it can sail in. Inventory, Vehicles and the manifest all read this rather than keeping their own copy of the ship.
Because the ship is described once, a reconfiguration — a deck closed, a cabin block withdrawn — reaches capacity, pricing and boarding at once.

No. In BORA each ferry is described once in the Vessels module, with its decks, cabins, berths and configurations, and every other module reads from it.
Does it hold maintenance records?
No. BORA's Vessels module holds a ferry's layout and configuration, not its maintenance or service history.
Can our fleet system sync it?
Yes. BORA's Vessels module exposes a local API, so a ferry operator's fleet-management system can sync vessel data.
