What does it do?
Vessels is the single description of each ship — its decks, cabins, berths and the configurations it can sail in. Inventory, Vehicles and the manifest all read this rather than keeping their own copy of the ship.
Because the ship is described once, a reconfiguration — a deck closed, a cabin block withdrawn — reaches capacity, pricing and boarding at once.

- Vessels describes the ship, not the timetable — scheduling sits in Schedule.
