What does it do?
Cargo / Freight brings freight into the same system as passengers and vehicles. A consignment is booked on a paperless consignment form, measured against deck capacity, priced, and manifested alongside every other load on the sailing.
Because freight shares the inventory and the ledger, a mixed sailing of passengers, cars and cargo is one picture, not a freight spreadsheet reconciled against a passenger system.

The consignment is measured against deck capacity from Inventory.

It is priced by Dynamic pricing against its class and route.
Manifest
It appears on the same manifest as passengers and vehicles.

Cargo / Freight measures against Inventory, is priced by Dynamic pricing, and settles through Payment gateway.
Cargo / Freight exposes a local API so a freight forwarder's system can book directly.
What are its limits?
What it deliberately does not do:
- Cargo / Freight handles ferry consignments; it is not a full logistics or warehouse system.
- Cargo / Freight does not certify dangerous-goods handling to regulatory standard — it books and manifests the load.
