What does it do?
Sales is the booking flow itself, wherever it happens. A passenger on the website, an agent on their own interface and a crew member selling onboard are all writing into the same flow and the same ledger.
One flow means one truth: a ticket is the same object however it was sold, and the day's takings are one figure, not three that have to be reconciled.
How does it work?
Website
A passenger books directly on the operator's site, against live inventory and prices.
Agency
Travel agencies book on an interface built for them, into the same flow.
Onboard
Goods and services sold onboard settle into the same ledger as every ticket.
Ledger
Every channel writes one flow, so a ticket is the same object however it was sold.
What does it connect to?
Sales reads Inventory and Dynamic pricing, settles through Payment gateway, and is distributed by GDS.
Sales exposes a local API so an operator's CRM or website can drive the same flow.
What are its limits?
What it deliberately does not do:
- Sales is the booking flow, not the payment processor — settlement is Payment gateway's job, driven from here.
- Sales does not hold the customer relationship beyond the booking; a CRM connects for that.

Is a website ticket different from an agency one?
No. All three channels write the same flow and the same ledger.
Does it process the payment itself?
It drives Payment gateway, which settles. The two are separate modules.
Can our CRM drive it?
Yes, through the module's local API.
