What does it do?
The Passenger website is the operator's own storefront — a modern, multi-brand booking site where a passenger searches sailings, chooses extras, pays and gets a ticket. It is a face on the same booking flow, not a separate system.
Because it books through the same engine, a ticket bought online is the same object as one bought at a desk or through an agency: valid at the same ramp, refundable on the same terms.

What it deliberately does not do:
