Trial terms
The terms for a free 14-day BORA trial started at try.bora.systems: what it is for, how long it lasts and what happens to your data.
Version 2026-10. These terms apply when you start a trial of BORA at try.bora.systems and tick "I accept the trial terms". We record the version you accepted and the time you accepted it.
1. Who we are
The trial is provided by Rosinad OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia, trading as BORA Systems ("BORA", "we"). "You" means the person who starts the trial and the company named in it.
2. Who may start a trial
The trial is for ferry operators and the people who work for them, evaluating BORA for business use. By starting one you confirm that you are at least 18, that the details you give are true and are your own, and that you may act for the company you name. Use your work e-mail address: we send the confirmation code and the sign-in link to it.
3. What the trial is
A trial is a separate BORA environment of its own, set up from your answers in the wizard: your ports and route, one vessel, a sample timetable and your prices. It includes the BORA admin tool and a sample booking site. It is for trying BORA out, not for running a ferry service:
- do not sell real tickets through it or take payments from the public;
- do not enter personal data of real passengers or of anyone who has not agreed to it;
- do not test its security, load-test it, scrape it, or try to reach other environments or other customers' data;
- keep the sign-in to people in your own company.
The trial is free of charge. It comes with no service level and no support commitment, although we are glad to help at [email protected].
4. How long it lasts
If you do not confirm your e-mail address within 24 hours, the started trial and the details you gave are deleted. Once you confirm it, the trial runs for 14 days. Three days before it ends we send you a reminder. We may extend a trial on request, at our discretion.
We may limit how many trials run at the same time, refuse to start one, or end one early if these terms are broken or the trial is misused.
5. When it ends
At the end of the trial the environment is switched off and you can no longer sign in; we tell you by e-mail. Thirty days later the environment and everything in it are deleted for good, along with our record of the trial. If you want to keep working with BORA, write to [email protected] before then.
6. Your details
To set up the trial we keep your name, work e-mail address, company, country and your answers in the wizard. Our sales team receives them so that we can follow up on the trial and answer your questions. We keep your IP address only as a one-way hash, to limit abuse. The wizard reports which steps were completed to Google Analytics, but never the values you enter. We do not sell your details. The privacy policy and the terms of personal data describe how we process personal data and how to exercise your rights.
7. Ownership
BORA, its software and its documentation remain ours; the trial gives you the right to use them for evaluation during the trial and nothing more. The data you enter remains yours. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve BORA without obligation to you.
8. No warranty and liability
The trial is provided "as is" and may change, be interrupted or lose data at any time. To the extent the law allows, BORA is not liable for any loss arising from the trial, including loss of data, profit or business. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may change these terms. A new version applies to trials started after it is published here; a trial already running stays under the version accepted when it started.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Questions about them: [email protected].
